I created this special “corner” on my blog to share some tips with you that could be helpful when travelling. Before I went on my last trip, I was looking at other blogs eager to find recommendations, and they were instrumental when planning my activities.
In the past, I avoided making plans when travelling, aiming to find my adventurous spirit and waiting for something to come up. Typically, I relied on the hotel concierge. That was good for a while, but I have found it more enjoyable to have a big plan that leaves some gaps in which you can be creative and spontaneous. Having a plan helps you to secure essential tickets and control your finances in a precise way. As you have already paid for critical activities, you can have more control over your budget. Also, I highly recommend reading many travelling blogs, as I personally have found their advice very helpful.
My style when Travelling
I usually travel with my husband, and we look for comfortable hotels that are couple friendly. I have stayed in hostels in the past, but at this point in our lives, we are more private, and comfort is a priority. Also, we look for hotels that don’t cost an arm and a leg, have good reviews and have a restaurant on the premises.
With this in mind, I will give the “do’s and don’ts”, in my opinion and according to my personal experiences. I hope you enjoy and comment on each post!
